MRS. McMURDY

The Star regrets to record the death of Mrs. McMurdy, wife of 
Judge Robert McMurdy of Chicago. She with her husband and her 
mother were guests of the Orndorff Hotel for some months. They 
had been in Phoenix,but found no relief and came here.  Mrs. 
McMurdy, as the readers of the Star are aware, gained rapidly 
here from the effect of our dry, genial climate.  When the 
hot weather set in they went over to Kerville Texas whre she 
did not make any headway in strength and suddenly she had an 
attack of brain fever and died.
