DAVID H. SNYDER January 21, 1893 Arizona Silver Belt Charles E. Taylor received a letter on Tuesday announcing the death of David H. Snyder in Tucson on Saturday last. He had been in bad health for many months and on December 5th had a surgical operation performed. He recovered at first after the removal of the tumors, but later his digestion became impaired and finally went back on him altogether, which with other complications caused the fatal collapse. Mr. Snyder served his country as a soldier in its time of need and there first contracted trouble that caused his death. He has been a citizen of Arizona for about 15 years, having been engaged in mining operations at Riverside for several years past. He was an Odd fellow, having always preserved his membership at Parker Lodge, 125 in San Francisco and his funeral will be Sunder under the auspices of the local lodge from the residence of Mrs. Wilkinson on Pennington Street opposite the Court House. Mr. Snyder was an upright, honorable citizen, a true friend and one who has borne an unblemished reputation during all his residence both here and on the Coast. Mr. Snyder has lived for many years at Riverside where he and Mr. Taylor owned valuable mines. He was well known to many of the old residents of Globe.
