JOHN V. WEIGLE July 8, 1897 The funeral of the late John V. Weigle at 4 pm yesterday from the undertaking parlors of the Samuel Baird Company was very largely attended. Both the Mason order and the Grand Army were well represented, he having been a member of both orders. The cause of his death was apoplexy. His age was 51. He was a native of Baltimore but for many years he had lived on the pacific coast mainly in Arizona. Said one of our prominent citizens yesterday:" I knew Johnnie Weigle well for many years. Thos who knew him well loved him best. He could need no better epitaph.
