William Carter died at his home in Farmer's Addition at 
11 o'clock Tuesday night and the funeral services were 
conducted from the home yesterday afternoon.  The remains 
were interred in the Double Butte Cemetery.  Mr. Carter 
has been here for the past several years and during most 
of that time has been in poor health, death finally 
resulting in tuburculosis.  Mrs. Carter is in poor 
health and was unable to leave her bed yesterday to 
attend the funeral.
