Soon after his return from Chicago in the fall of 1893 he moved to Los Angeles where he resided unitl the time of his death. In a financial way he was very successful. He acquired considerable Phoenix real estate and at the time of his death owned fifty feet frontage on Washington Street on the east side of Wall, extending to Commericial.
