Arizona Silver Belt-September 29, 1888
Walter Fitzsimmons, aged 54, a native of Ireland, died in Globe Sept. 23, 1888.
During the Rebellion he served in the 79th New York regiment and at the time of
his death he was an exemplary member of the Colonel Alexander Post GAR of Globe.
His funeral was largely attended by the members of the Post and by citizens.
