McGinnis Arizona Republican Newspaper November 9, 1905 A.D. McGinnis died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at the residence of his brother, on Grand Avenue about a mile from Five Points. He has not been in good health for a long time. He was one of the earliest settlers in this part of Arizona having come here with his brother when both were in the army as members of the 32nd Infantry. At the time of his death, he had a large interest in the Pikes Peak Gold Mining Company in which his brother and L.E. Hewins of this city are also associated. He had no relatives here except his brother. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock at the parlors of Easterling and Whitney and will be conducted by Rev. McLean of the First M.E. Church. Subsequent interment will be made by the John H. Owens Post G.A.R.
