                          LAS VEGAS RANCH CEMETERY

To the best of my knowledge (didn’t have a GPS unit at the time) the cemetery is
located on a hill about a mile north of the old ranch house.  The ranch is
located approximately 23 miles northwest of Prescott, in Williamson Valley,
Yavapai County, Arizona.    The approximate location from a Prescott Forest map
is T17N, R4W. I can’t be sure of the Section, either north half of 36 or south
half of 25.

The information was gathered onsite, there are other unmarked graves in this
cemetery. Rumor has it that one was a sheepman that was told to stay out of the
 area (It was a cattle ranch). Another a man that was shot in Prescott and
someone was paid $2. plus a bottle of whiskey to take him out to the ranch and
bury him.  On the way, the coffin fell out of the buckboard, when they arrived
at the cemetery, they had to go back and find him.

months.
