CHARLES BAIN Arizona Republican Newspaper May 5, 1897 The funeral of the late Charles Bain took place in Prescott on Saturday afternoon, under the auspices of the mines of that vicinity. There was a good turnout. Foreman J.C. Clark and the miners of the Jersey Lily came in to attend the funeral. The burial was held in the Citizens Cemetery. W.H. Ferguson, an ancient miner, delivered the funeral oration.
