John Glynn Arizona Republican Newspaper September 13, 1895 John Glynn, an employee of the United Verde Company at Jerome, was instantly killed at that place Saturday. He had been driving a couple of mules hitched to a scraper, and when the hour of quitting came he junped on one of the mules to ride home. The animal he was riding took fright at the report of a shotgun and ran away with the rider. In some way the unfortunate man was thrown form the mule and becoming entangled in the harness, was dragged to death. The body presented a ghastly sight, being terribly bruised.
