HARRY R. HILLIKER Arizona Republican Newspaper August 10, 1909 After a struggle of twenty five days against the last attack of tubuculosis, Harry R. Hilliker, an electrical enigneer of prominence who came to Phoenix from New York City with his family on July 15 died at Prescott yesterday morning. Although the disease had made considerable inroad on his health in New York, making it necessary for him to quit work and come west, it was not thought that he was in as bad a condition as he was. In fact, ever since his arrival in Arizona he had seemed to improve and his last attack came suddenly, and no doubt was brought on by a slight cold, due from a change of the altitude between Phoenix and Prescott. It was not learned yesterday afternoon whether the remains would be interred in Phoenix or back at the old home in New York.
