He was born at home on Brown Street, in Dallas, TX on March 8, 1925. He lived in TX, FL and CA until he found his “home on the hill” in Prescott, AZ in 1972. He remained there until a few days before his passing where he then completed his journey at Family Hospice Care. A US Navy Veteran; he entered WWII at age 17, serving on the USS Bull DE- 693/APD-78 a Buckley class destroyer. He also served in the reserves as a Staff Sergeant in Marines. He enjoyed the outdoors and game hunting. He was a volunteer and supporter of the Prescott Sportsmen’s Club. He was a licensed Radio Amateur W7LGS and member of Mingus Mountain Repeater Group, Inc. K7MRG. He is survived by four children; Heather Kile, Michael Kile, Wayne Kile and Annette Olson. He has seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren in AZ and TX.
