Florence Laney, Pioneer, Dies


Prescott, Apr. 19-(AP)- Mrs. Florence Laney, 65 years old, who had 
lived in Arizona for nearly 60 years, will be buried here tomorrow. 
She died at her home yesterday following a brief illness.
     
Born at Concho, Tex., Mrs. Laney had resided in various places in 
Arizona since 1884, before coming here 10 years ago. She was the 
widow of the late George Laney.
     
Surviving relatives include three brothers, William S. Miller, 
Phoenix, Otto Miller, Los Angeles, and Charles W. Miller, Portland, 
Ore.
