K.W. McNARY Arizona Republican Newspaper February 3, 1895 On Friday morning G.K. W. McNary, owner of a quicksilver mine on Copper Basin, southwest of Prescott, came to town to find his son, and failing to do so returned. Parties discovered the mangled body of Mr. McNary on the road leading to his home in Copper Basin the same afternoon. Paul Loska was arrested on suspicion. It is conjectured that he met the old man for the purpose of robbery, struck him and beat him to death.
