DAN O'BOYLE September 1, 1897 Arizona Republican Newspaper Dan O'Boyle was found dead in his house in South Prescott yesterday about 3pm. He was living alone in the house with a Chinaman who did the cooking. The Chinaman went out yesterday and returned between 2 and 3 o'clock pm to find Dan lying on a table, dead. He had evidently fallen to the table from a standing position and seemed to have passed away without a struggle. He was seen on the streets the day before his death, but was complaining of being unwell and is said to have had pneumonia. He was a native of Canada, served through the late war in the federal army and had resided in this section for about a quarter of a century. He was by occupation a miner and was interested in some valuable properties in this county at the time of his death.
