CHARLES WARD Feb 8, 1896 Prescott: Jakey Brown, the railroad enigneer who shot and killed Charles Ward, the mining man lst May at Jerome has been areested for complicity in the shooting of Shippling Clerk Olson last Monday night. Brown is charged with furnishing Durkin a gun with which the shooting was done. Olsons condition is still critical and threats are made of lynching both Durkin and Brown in case of Olson's death.
