JAMES AQUINESS May 8, 1914 Yuma Sentinel James Aquiness, the young Indian who was shot by one of the Indian policemen Friday night, when he resisted arrest, died at the county hospital at about eleven o'clock Saturday morning. Yesterday afternoon Justice Jones hald an inquest into the cause of the death. The principal witness was Walter Scott, one of the Indian policemen who made the arrest. Very little could be learned from his testimony as he appeared unwilling to tell much about the case. The body was turned over to the dead boy's relatives. The cremation will take place tomorrow at the village, a quarter of a mile north of Fort Yuma.
