ADAM BOSSUNG Az Republican Newspaper June 10, 1896 Poor old Adam Bossung, prior to his death and nearly a year ago, commenced the publication of a notice to prove up on his homestead on the southern limits of Yuma in the defunct Times. As the number of publications Uncle Sam requires had not been complied with a new publication had to be made. Nothing daunted, the old man on the revival of the Yuma Bee from the ashes of the Times again commenced publication and a short time before its expiration The Bee suspended publication and Adam was just as near getting a title to his homestead as when he first commenced. Then came the advent of the Advertiser and Sun but Adam was dead. His widow made arrangements to prove up and gave it to the Advisor and now its dim light has gone out and the widow must make arrangements once again for the publication of this notice which has seen three papers expire.
