ED GILLESPIE April 6, 1897 Ed Gillespie, an old pioneer miner in the last stages of comsumption was admitted to the county hospital one week ago today and the following monring died. During the night he called Mrs. Costello, who has charge of the hospital and gave her his vest, with instructions to keep it for him. After his death $62 in greenbacks were found in one of the pockets.
