JAMES STEWART November 21, 1898 James Stewart, an old line stage driver, well known to all early settlers in Yuma died on november 3 at his home near San Bernardino, Cal. Mr. Stewart was in the stage buisness for thirty years and was one of the most widely known men in the west. For a number of years before the advent of the Southern Pacific he had charge of a stage line between San Bernardino and Tombstone.
