Tammy spent her early years growing up in Livermore. She was known throughout the state of California as one of the top western riders. She graduated from Livermore High School, and was an active 4-H member and a member of Livermore FFA. Tammy was the youngest of many who loved her in her spirit and love of life. She could always be counted on for an activity that was put before her. Along with her husband, Bill, Tammy developed a love for driving draft horses. She was known for giving rides to kids at Christmas and Halloween. Although she did not have children of her own, she was an aunt to many. She was an avid supporter of 4-H and FFA horse project members in both Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. It was important to her that they all be treated fairly. Most recently she developed a fondness in the spirit of the Old West. She and Bill built a chuck wagon and cooked wonderful meals in true western fashion over an open fire. Tammy will be remembered in her wonderful handmade Christmas gifts and practical jokes. She will be remembered by all who loved her.
