Littlefiled passed away at his home in Oakland on Monday, Oct. 4, 1920. He was a native of Maine, aged 74 years. Besides his widow, Helen M. Littlefield, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lewis N. Snyder, and a son, Edward E. Littlefield. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon in Oakland. Captain and Mrs. Littlefield became interested in Morgan Hill many hears ago, when the captain bought a ranch on DeWitt avenue and later the property now known as the Littlefield Addition to Morgan Hill. He owned some of the latter property at the time of his death. Until the captain’s health began to fall some months ago the Littlefields were frequent and welcome visitors in this vicinity, and many friends here miss the captain and sympathise [sic] with the widow in her loneliness.
