“DIED. HARLAN - In Oakland, June 21, 1897, Laura Minerva, eldest daughter of 
Mrs. M[inerva] J[ane] and the late Joel Harlan.  Funeral at Livermore, Cal., on 
arrival of train leaving San Francisco at 8:30 o'clock A. M. WEDNESDAY, June 
23, 1897.” END

Laura never married.  She was buried at Oak Knoll Cemetery (Alameda Burying 
Ground) with other Harlan family members.
