Oakland Tribune, August 2, 1935 
"Funeral Held for Oakland Resident

Funeral services for Lorin L. Llewellyn, 66. a resident of the Bay area for 60 
years, were held from the Grant Miller Parlors.  Llewellyn died July 26 at a 
local hospital following an illness of three years.

Born in Oregon, Llewellyn came to Oakland at the age of six.  A civil 
engineeer, he had been retired for several years.  Also surviving are a widow, 
Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth Llewellyn of 29 Fairvief [sic] Avenue, and a daughter, 
Laura Lorraine of San Francisco, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Tarlen [sic Harlan] 
Llewellyn." END

10, Column 4.  Lorin Leroy Llewellyn was born about 1879 in Oregon to William 
A. Llewellyn and Mary (Harlan) Llewellyn.
