Lutz, daughter of the late W. E. [William Elliot] and Augusta [May] Miller, and sister of Mrs. Henry C. McPike [nee Lillian May Miller], a native of California, aged 42 years. San Francisco Call December 15, 1904, Page 6, Image 6, Column 1 - LEAVES PROPERTY TO HUSBAND— Oakland. December 14. — The will of the late Nellie R. Lutz, wife of John E. Lutz, a mining man living at 576 Thirty-First Street, was filed for probate today. She leaves her entire estate valued at about $50,000 to her husband. The property consists of real estate in Alameda, Monterey and Placer counties. Additional Comments: Nellie Ruth Miller Lutz died of a pneumonia fever brought on by a stillborn miscarriage of her infant son at 12am November 6, 1904. The infant was placed in the family vault in Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, on Nov. 9. She was creamated November 28. She was cremated and placed in the vault March 7, 1905.
