"DIED. WALLACE - In Oakland, July 19, Lucy Ann Wallace, beloved wife of the 
late Captain William Wallace, loving mother of Mrs. Frances E. Wilson, Mrs. 
Perry L. Johnson, Mrs. Lizzie W. Schadler, Mrs. A. L. Monroe, Mrs. Ella W. 
Chapman and J[ames] G. Wallace and F[red] L. Wallace, a native of Iowa, aged 87 
years, 3 months, 27 days [difficult to read the age numbers].

Funeral at Fort Bidwell [in Modoc County on] Thursday [July 22] at 2 p.m. 
Remains will be forwarded Tuesday evening to Willow Ranch.  C. W. Cooper, 
director of funeral." END
