It is completely landlocked by a working cattle ranch, which is private property. Prior permission to pass through the property to the cemetery must be obtained from Trevor Mottishaw, head of the General Services Administration for Amador County, 209-223-6470. This is an old cemetery with the earliest date on a legible tombstones of 1850. There are 155 known graves sites, with 146 legible markers. These tombstone transcriptions were done by members of the Amador County Genealogy Society: Barbara Heard and Barbara McMahon, Spring, 2004. All attempts were made for accuracy.
