Mrs. Rebecca Ann Russ, 50, part time resident of Anderson, California, passed 
away on October 18, 2004, at her place of residence. Mrs. Russ was born March 
19, 1954 in Columbia, California. She moved to Shasta County in 2001 from 
Plymouth, California. She was a Pharmacy Technician for various employers. Mrs. 
Russ is survived by her family, husband John Russ, of Plymouth, California; 
son, David Van Renselar of Los Angeles County, California; daughter, Suzanne 
Sergis of Stockton, California and 1 grandchild. Mrs. Russ was involved in many 
organizations that include volunteer for Haven Humane Society; member of 
National Region Chapter, Sacramento-Sierra Region chapter and the Tri County 
Chapter of Vintage Chevrolet Club of America; member of the Immaculate 
Conception Church and Choir in Sutter Creek, California, member of the Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church in Anderson, California, and a life member of the 
National Chapter and Redwood Region Chapter of the Contemporary Historical 
Vehicle Association. Rebecca's hobbies included country music, gardening, 
crafts and was an avid reader. 
A Mass service for Mrs. Russ will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at 
11:00 a.m. at The Immaculate Conception Church in Sutter Creek, California. 
Father Liam McCarthy of the Immaculate Conception Church will officiate. The 
Immaculate Conception Men's Club will be hosting a reception following the Mass 
that will be held in Immaculate Conception Hall.
