Former Chico Woman Dies At Home in Sacramento

Word was received here last night of the death in Sacramento yesterday morning 
of Mrs. Mary E. Morebeck.  Mrs. Morebeck lived at 1420 Mulberry street in Chico, 
and had been a patient at the White hospital in Sacramento.

The deceased was 62 years old, and had been a president of this city for the 
past 10 years.  She came to California thirty-five years ago from Louisville, 
KY., where she was born.  She was the widow of T. C. Morebeck.

Mrs. Morebeck leaves to mourn her loss her daughter, Mrs. Ella B. Allen of Chico 
and three sons, Charles T. Morebeck of Sacramento and Herbert L. Morebeck of 
Salinas and Eugene Morebeck of Dutch Flat.

Funeral services will be held here Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the 
Westfall partners, and C. Lee Rose will officiate.
