“MRS. WIMMER DIED LAST NIGHT

Death Was Due to Attack of Pneumonia

Last evening [December 3] at 6:50 o’clock Mrs. Celestia A. Wimmer died at the 
home of her son[in-law], William Robertson on 9th street, from typhoid 
pneumonia.  She was aged 60 years and had been in failing health since the 
tragic death of her husband, William Wimmer, some six weeks ago, when he was 
thrown from a wagon and received injuries which resulted in his death.  Mrs. 
Wimmer contracted a cold which soon developed into typhoid pneumonia and after 
being afflicted lingered but a few days.

Deceased leaves four daughters and two sons to mourn her passing.  They are 
Mrs. Mary Sills, Mrs. J[ohn] W[illiam] Charge, Mrs. Albert Geokler, Mrs. 
William Robertson and Jake and Otto Wimmer, the latter an adopted son.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock from the Free Methodist 
church on Ninth street.  Rev. W. J. Call will officiate.” END
