Agnes S Holland was the wife of Judson Arthur Holland she died within 6 months 
of giving birth to her third child from complications from childbirth.  She was 
born Agnes Mercer to Peter Mercer and Margaret Pamelia Schroebel in Mobile, 
Alabama on January 8, 1860.  The family came to Calaveras after the death of 
Peter to live with Margaret's brother Charles Henry Schroebel.  Agnes was left 
in Mobile with her Aunt Laura Schroebel Ruggles.  When sister Janie married 
Jubal Foster he sent his mother-in-law Margaret back to Alabama to get Agnes 
and her siblings Edward and Laura.
