Kenneth A. Swanson Sr. 
August 31, 1929 - October 28, 2004



Kenneth A. Swanson, Sr., 75, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2004. He was 
born August 31, 1929, in Angels Camp, CA. He lived in Stockton for 31 years. Mr 
Swanson Sr. was a groundskeeper at University of the Pacific for 18 years. He 
retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Bette Jane Swanson of Stockton; his children, Susan 
Elizabeth Swanson of Orinda; Kenneth A. Swanson Jr. of Temple City; Kimberly 
Kay Tomsha of Stockton; his brother, Bernard Swanson of Sequin, TX.; his 
sisters, Adeline Smith of Stockton; Mildred Yoder of San Diego; his 5 
grandchildren, Alison Marie Jimenez, Phillip Alfons Swanson Jr., Chloe Swanson, 
Adam Tomsha, Isaac Tomsha; his 2 great-grandchildren, Salem Jiminez and Vincent 
Jiminez.
Chapel Service at Wallace-Martin Funeral Home, 520 N. Sutter Street, Wednesday, 
November 3, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation: Tuesday, November 2, 2004, from 
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Committal: Buena Vista Cemetery in 
Murphys.
Memorials can be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, 
Stockton, 95204.
