Vernon Eugene Hansen 
Aug 6, 1927 - Nov. 12, 2004



Vern Hansen, age 77, passed away at Isleton, CA on November 12, 2004. Vern was 
a long-time resident of Vallejo and most recently lived in Arnold, CA. He has 
gone to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by 
his parents, Edward and Helen Hansen of Raton, New Mexico.
He was a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans WWII; VFW, Fleet Reserve 
Association, National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), 
American Legion Post 550, Amateur Radio Club/Ham Operator, Vallejo Moose Lodge 
#468 (24 years), Vallejo Elks #559 (21 years).
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Iona, and three children, Lisa Hansen 
of Vallejo, Dan Hansen and his wife Paige of Vallejo and Amy Rossknecht and her 
husband Dan of Livermore. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Jacob & 
Jered Hansen of Vallejo and Rick, Katie & Ryan Rossknecht of Livermore; and his 
two step-grandchildren, Deana and Romie Mohamed of Vallejo, CA.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2004, at Skyview 
Garden Chapel, Vallejo. Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2004 
at St. Peter's Chapel, Mare Island, Vallejo.
