Hayward, Jeri-Mae Hayward Perry McCoy, 69, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2005. She attended schools and graduated from Calais Memorial High School in Calais, ME. She lived in Texas, Arizona, New York, Chicago and Concord, CA where she retired from the United States Postal Service in 1986 before moving to Valley Springs, CA in 1994. She was an active member of Stone Corral Community Church in Valley Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Clint Hayward and Sam Hayward of Calais, ME and Hazen Hayward of Portsmouth, NH, and one sister, Corliss Keef of Calais, ME, besides her baby Daniel in 1958, and son, Ron Perry in 2001. She is survived by her husband, Jack L. McCoy of Valley Springs; daughter, Linda Perry Munn and Lonnie Matthews of Spokane, WA; daughter, Janice Perry Diehl Caltagirone and David Simons of Vancouver, WA. One step-daughter, Lori McCoy Murphy and Jack Murphy of Moss Beach, CA; nine grandchildren, Nathan Diehl and wife Amy of Mountain View, CA, Nicholas Diehl and wife Kasey of Vancouver, WA, Heather Munn Krause and husband Jonathan of Hen-derson, NV, Danielle Munn and Joseph Munn of Pleasanton, CA, Samantha Caltagirone of Vancover, WA, Lonnie Matthews of Spokane, WA, Sara Perry of Angels Camp, CA and Chanti' Murphy of Moss Beach; two great-grandchildren, Emma Lee Diehl of Vancouver, WA and Tyler Jonathan Krause of Henderson, NV; four sisters, Sissy Johnson of Meddybemps, ME, Sara Cameron and Patty Hayward of Calais, Maine and Ann Hacker of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; one brother, Jon Hayward of Winston Salem, NC; several nieces and nephews and her beloved church family at Stone Corral. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA. Donations in her memory may be given to The Gideon Bible Society or charity of choice. There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. The graveside service will be at Cherokee memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi, CA. Following the graveside service will be a memorial service at the Stone Corral Community Church, Valley Springs, CA at 2:00 p.m. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 14, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The visitation will be at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA.
