She was born in San Francisco, CA on October 11, 1946, the daughter of Earl Charles Paden and Lorraine Emily Burke Paden. Kathy touched the lives of many people with her warm spirit, her kind generosity and her great sense of humor. She was a resident of West Point for the past 4 years and was a frequent contributor of time, talents and effort as a columnist for the Gold Country Times. She was an avid craftsperson and a talented photographer. She dedicated much of her time as a volunteer for various organizations in Calaveras County, and was instrumental in helping to organize many facets of various community activities such as "Lumber Jack Days" and the "Fishing Derby. She will be missed by all who knew her. Kathy is survived by three sons: Tony (and his wife Kathy) Palazzolo of Newark, Marty Palazzolo of Bremerton, WA, and Chris Palazzolo (and his wife Rachel Kessel) of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Garrett Palazzolo, Lynsie Erickson and Colter Peltier; her father, Earl Charles Paden of West Point, Ca and her sister, Marsha (and her husband Tom) Nord of Boulder Creek, CA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Wissell. Friends are invited to join the family at a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in Stockton.
