Boehmer, 82, former prominent Colusa farmer, who died this morning at 9:15 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs Catherine Lane, in Richmond after a lingering illness. Members of the family were with him at the end. Born in Missouri, August 8, 1853, Boehmer came to California in 1881 and settled on the east side near the Butte Creek schoolhouse. He lived there for 23 years and was eminently successful as a farmer. In 1904 he moved to Maxwell and farmed there for a few years, then returned to the east side near Princeton. In 1915 he disposed of his farming interests and moved to Colusa. Two years ago he went to Richmond to make his home with his daughter. Those Who Survive Five children survive. They are: Miss Stella Boehmer of San Francisco, Mrs Catherine Lane of Richmond, Dr. George A. Boehmer of Richmond and Henry and Alfonso Boehmer of Taft, Calif., Frank Schrader of Colusa is a nephew and Mrs Bernadette Campbell of West Butte is a niece of the deceased. A granddaughter, Dorothy Lane of Richmond also survives. Following services at the Catholic church here Tuesday morning, interment will be made in Catholic cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Brothers.
