VICTORINE A VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK: PRINCETON DAIRYMAN AND RICE GROWER DIES AFTER COLLAPSE IN COLUSA Antone Joseph Victorine, 58, dairyman and rice grower in the Princeton district, died suddenly at the Eagle rooms here late Saturday after being stricken with a heart attack while in the alley back of the Colusa Creamery company plant. Deceased was moved to the rooming house and a doctor summoned. He was too far gone, however, to be revived. Deceased was a native of the Azore Islands, but came this state when a mere boy, 49 years ago. He had long been a resident of Colusa county and at one time owned a ranch across the river. Beside his widow, Minnie Victorine, there are three sons: Tony, John and Frank Victorine and two daughters: Mrs. Rose Salvadore and Miss Josephine Victorine; also seven grand children. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock from the Catholic church and interment will be made in Colusa by Sullivan Bros.
