Colusa Sun July 23, 1963 Foster Rites Pending Colusan Stricken, Dies In Maxwell Services are pending at McNary Memorial Chapel for Linza Cleo Foster, 46, heavy equipment operator and resident of Colusa for the past 20 years, who died of an apparent heart seizure about 2 pm yesterday afternoon while visiting with friends in Maxwell. Foster, the coroner's office said, was seated in a chair, talking, when he was stricken. The Maxwell Fire Department's resuscitator was called for and used, but to no avail. A Williams doctor was called. He pronounced Foster dead. Foster was a native of Berryville, Ark., and was known to have been suffering from heart trouble. The family home is at 31 Tuttle Lane. Foster is survived by his wife, Dolores Ann; children, Lester, Suzette, Robert, Linda and Amy Foster, all of Colusa, Leon Foster of Marysville, Beverly Foster of Los Angeles, Raymond and Danny Foster of Sutter, and Penny Umfress, also of Sutter; four grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services, it was announced later will be held at 10 am Thursday in McNary Memorial Chapel with interment in Colusa Cemetery.
