Appeal Democrat, February 01, 1979 Thursday Aileen F. Meyer Aileen Florence Meyer, 86, a former Yuba-Sutter area resident died yesterday in Roseville following a long illness. A native of Sycamore, she had lived in the Roseville area for five years. Prior to that she lived most of her life in Meridian. She was an assistant postmaster at the Meridian Post Office and was a member of the Lilac Rebekah Lodge of Meridian and the Meridian Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Ben R. Hopkins of Roseville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Meridian Methodist Church under the direction of the Lambert Funeral Home of Roseville. Burial will be in the Grand View Cemetery in Grimes.
