Wilsey Taken By Death The death Saturday morning in Colusa Memorial Hospital of Mrs Cleo Highstreet Wilsey, 65, the wife of Harold R Wilsey Sr., well known artist and instructor in painting and a member of a respected long time Colusa family, saddened the community where she was born and spent her entire life. She was stricken Friday and died as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. A native of Colusa, born December 31, 1905, Cleo had long been active in Colusa affairs. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the Colusa Woman's Club and the Rice Reelers, a section of the club. Cleo spent her leisure time in painting and also instructing classes in art. Her paintings were widely exhibited, including displays at the Colusa County Fair and area art shows. She had engaged in such work for the past 20 years. In addition to her husband, Cleo is survived by a son, Attorney Harold Wilsey Jr., former Colusa County district attorney; daughter, Mrs Robyn Dorsey of San Jose; sisters, Mrs Louise She llooe, Colusa, Mrs Josephine Bryan, Stockton, and Mrs. Lucille Lomba, Oakland; brother, Louis Highstreet, Colusa, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary Tonight The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight in Sullivan Chapel with requiem mass at 10 am Tuesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Colusa Catholic Cemetery with McNary -Moore directing. Cleo made many contributions to the cultural life of the community and she will be greatly missed.
