McDONALD.—It appears that on June 11,1856, Rafael, an Indian, and Isabel, an Indian squaw, stabbed Terence H. McDonald on the right side of the neck, from which he died instantly, the deed being committed in his own dwelling. September 5, 1856, they were convicted of manslaughter, the man sentenced to ten years and the woman to eighteen months' imprisonment in the State Prison. There was also an accomplice, who was discharged.
