"Bessie Clare Drury

Bessie Clare Drury [nee Hargrave], in Walnut Creek, December 16, 1976.  Beloved 
wife of the late Harry Lloyd Drury of Walnut Creek; loving mother of Elizabeth 
[Betty] French of Walnut Creek, Dorothy Bradbury of Daya Mallorca, Spain; dear 
sister of the late Harold Hargrave; dear grandmother of Janet Ward of 
Melbourne, Australia, Julia Maxwell of Walnut Creek & Suzanne Huglin of Munich, 
Germany and great-grandmother of Geoffrey, Cathryn & Suzanne Ward of Melbourne, 
Australia and William & Elizabeth [Lizzie] Maxwell of Walnut Creek.  A native 
of San Ramon, California, age 92 years.  A life member of Walnut Creek Women's 
Club, a member and past regent of Ann Loucks D.A.R. Chapter, member of Contra 
Costa County Historical Society; charter member of Walnut Creek Historical 
Society, and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Walnut Creek.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Little Chapel of St. Paul's 
Episcopal Church, 1924 Trinity Avenue, Walnut Creek, on Tuesday, December 21 at 
2 p.m. CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MORTUARY, Oakland. 654-0123." END

Page 61, Column 3.  Bessie Clare Hargrave was the daughter of John Frederick 
Hargrave and Julia Ann (Smith) Hargrave.  She married Harold Lloyd Drury.
