Sacramento Daily Record-Union, February 16, 1883
“A Contra Costa County Pioneer Dead.
 
Vallejo Junction, February 15th.— Thos. Edwards, a pioneer of Contra Costa 
county, died at his residence near Crockett at 3:40 P. M to-day. Mr. Edwards 
was a native of Wales, aged 70 years 8 months and 10 days.” END

He was buried in the Edwards family plot in Alhambra Cemetery, Martinez.
