William (Willie) Netka 
Jan. 19, 1930 - Jan. 14, 2005



William Henry (Willie) Netka entered into rest on Friday, January 14, 2005 in 
Antioch, CA. 
He was born in Sonora, CA on January 19, 1930 to Eva May Hale Netka and Joseph 
Charles Netka. As a young man, Willie worked for the Purity Grocery Store chain 
in Sonora, Turlock and Livermore and was a member of the National Guard. He 
also worked as a soils technician for many years and most recently worked for 
St. Vincent de Paul in Antioch. Willie enjoyed music, theater and cinema and 
had a large music collection. Willie was a devout member of the Baha'i Faith 
for many years and served on the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Antioch.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Charles Netka, Jr. He is 
survived by his sisters Julia Armstrong of Petaluma and Catherine Keck of 
Soquel, CA; children Laurie Netka, Larry Netka and Tammy Swanson all of 
Turlock; granddaughter Vanessa; great-granddaughter Sabrina.
Memorial services will be held in Santa Cruz, CA on February 4, 2005 and in
