It's very easy to miss, but watch for a chain link fence. A grape vineyard is on the west side of the cemetery. The cemetery property is a long narrow strip from north from Barstow to the San Joaquin River. Bethany's cemetery is in 2 pieces - one by Barstow & one by the river. A Russian Molokan Cemetery sits between Bethany's. Information about the Cemetery: There are 80 marked graves and at least nine unmarked graves. There are also four graves with markers, but no indication of who is buried there. The church has no known burial records. The oldest grave is from 1908, so it was probably established about that time. This cemetery used to be known as the Vineland Cemetery. Some death certificates were looked up and the info put in the additional information column. The volume and page number are included. Those that are in the county logs have "county records" after the volume and page listing. All the certificates are in the Hall of Records in Fresno, California. It is in downtown Fresno on the corner of Tulare and M Street, on the third floor. LAST FIRST DOB DOD NOTES ? CLARICE 1917 1917 ? H J 1905 1924 ? HARRY 1918 ? M R 1909 1910 ? MAXINE 1921 1922 ? N A ?
