The cemetery survey was probably done in 1965. It has not been field verified since then. The cemetery is one acre of privately owned land located at Priest Valley Road and Coalinga Hot Springs Road, near Coalinga CA. The Freeman family was camped at Coalinga Hot Springs in 1878. They all died from food poisoning after eating canned beans. Their tombstones are signed by the carver, D.A. Gilstrap. NOTES are listed below this section.
