Allen Rites Observed
Funeral services for John W. Allen, 68, a retired insurance salesman 
who died Wednesday at his home at 430 Blackstone Avenue have
been set for 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Memorial Baptist
Church. Rev. Edward I. Allen will officiate. Burial will be in the
Belmont Memorial Park under the direction of Stephens & Bean.
Allen is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie M. Allen; three sons,
Arthur O. and Willard Allen, both of Fresno, and Arvie Allen of 
Sonoma; a daughter, Miss Eleanor Allen of Fresno, and two
nieces and a nephew, Mrs. O?o Martin of El Campo, Texas,
Mrs D. Matherly of Visalia and O. G. Allen of Houston, Texas.

Wife was Mary Annie Burson daughter of John Mack Burson and Sarah Eleanor Ray
