Douglass, Retired Farmer, Dies Gabriel M. Douglass, 72, a retired farmer, died last night in a local sanitarium. He lived at 1591 College Avenue. Douglass came to California from Indiana in 1886. He farmed in the Coalinga and Hanford districts for many years. He moved to Fresno in retirement three years ago. He is survived by two sons, Earl W. Douglass, local truck driver, and Leslie L. Douglass, Fresno fireman. There also are four brothers, Milton Douglass of Coalinga, F.C. Douglass of Napa, Parker Douglass of Hanford and John Douglass of Las Vegas, Nev., and three sisters, Mrs. S.K. Thomas of Fresno, Mrs. Stella Dooley of Long Beach and Mrs. Rosie Morris of Greenwod, Miss. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. to-morrow at the Lisle Funeral Chapel.
