"This Week's Happenings

Died - At his home in the Laguna district, Thursday, February 27, 1919, Elisha 
Harlan, a pioneer.  He is survived by a loving wife, two daughters and two 
sons, all of whom were at his beside, excepting Mrs. J. Sherrill of Chico, who 
was on the way to her parents' home.  Funeral services on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. 
at the house." END
