Funeral services are scheduled Feb 10 for Marion E Fales who died 02-06-1986 in 
Bayside at age 61. She was a resident of Bayside. A native of Showers Pass, Mrs 
Fales was raised there and lived her entire life in Humboldt co. She was a avid 
sportswoman and loved to hunt and fish. Mrs Fales will be remembered for her 
patience, understanding and willingness to lend a hand to anyone. She loved the 
mountains where she was raised. Mrs Fales is survived by her husband George l 
Fales of Bayside; her sons and daughters in law, Bill and Susan Fales of 
Ferndale and Dan and Diane Fales of Eureka; her daughter Penny Fales of Eureka; 
her brother Ellis O Stapp of Pilot Ridge, Marvin D Stapp of Beatrice, Owen D 
Stapp of Freshwater, Carroll K Stapp of Eureka and Martin W Stapp of Eureka; 
her sisters Hetty M Schroeder of McKinleyville and Muriel McPhillips of Eureka; 
her grandchildren, Tuesday and Polly Warlick, Jody and Cory Fales and Barbara 
and Tricia Fales and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her 
mother in law, Marie Fales of Fortuna. Mrs Fales was preceded in death by her 
infant daughter, Marvis Fales, her brother, Kenneth D Stapp and her parents, 
Oscar E and Cornelia Stapp who were early pioneer settlers at Showers Pass. 
Private inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Eureka
